BCG is intradermal; OPV is oral; Hep B is intramuscular
6 Weeks - DTP-1 (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis)
- IPV-1 (Inactivated Polio)
- Hib-1
- Hepatitis B-2
- Rotavirus-1
- PCV-1 (Pneumococcal)
Often given as pentavalent or hexavalent combination vaccines
10 Weeks - DTP-2
- IPV-2
- Hib-2
- Rotavirus-2
- PCV-2
2nd dose in the primary series
14 Weeks - DTP-3
- IPV-3
- Hib-3
- Hepatitis B-3
- Rotavirus-3
- PCV-3
Complete the primary series
6 Months - Influenza (1st dose) Annual shot recommended thereafter
9 Months - MMR-1 (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Optional: Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV)
TCV can be given from 6–9 months
12 Months - Hepatitis A-1 Inactivated or live vaccine forms
15 Months - MMR-2
- Varicella-1 (Chickenpox)
- PCV Booster
PCV booster recommended if PCV was given earlier
18 Months - DTP Booster-1
- Hib Booster
- IPV Booster
- Hepatitis A-2
Combination vaccines can reduce pricks
2 Years - Typhoid Booster (if earlier TCV given at 9–12 months) Every 3 years thereafter
4–6 Years - DTP Booster-2
- MMR-3
- Varicella-2
School entry booster phase
9–14 Years - HPV (Human Papillomavirus) – 2 doses (0 and 6 months) Only for girls; boys optional (private practice)
10–12 Years - Tdap (Tetanus, reduced Diphtheria and Pertussis) Replaces older Td booster
Every 1–2 Years - Influenza (Flu shot) Especially for children with respiratory issues
